tatkal indian passport renewal

Hi All,

just looking for some advice its about my brother in law indian passport which expired over 3 years ago. he wants get a indian passport asap and i found out quickest process is tatkal scheme. which documents does he need to provide to get renewal of indian passport under tatkal scheme in the uk? currently he only got his expired indian passport as his proof of indian nationality.
