Hi,

I tried filling the application form at https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas
Yes,you need to fill the nationality as Indian(Please note that if your baby has Indian birth certificate, then he's Indian),date of birth, place of birth and then country of birth which will take you to next section which asks you, 'do you have passport' to which you fill in as 'no' which again takes you to next question , "You do not have the information in your passport because you have never had a passport (for example, because you were born in the UK)" and rest you can fill successfully.

Please try.
Dear Dewdrops,

Thank you very much for your help. Highly appreciated for looking into this.
Do I need to apply for the Indian birth certificate before filling the visa? currently, the baby has only a UK birth certificate.
Do you think I cannot apply without an Indian birth certificate?
And I went to - Tier-2-general work visa/family-members/apply as the child for completing the application is this the correct pathway?
Documents showing you have had at least £630.00 in cash savings for 90 consecutive days- this is my maintenance right? or it should be under child name?

Thank you in advance,
Regards,
Satya

No problem, thank you 😊
I just gave an example about nationality.
We didn’t submit Indian birth certificate.
Yes you need to goto Tier2 general: PBS dependant-Child
Maintenance was confirmed by my sponsor in the COS, so we didn’t have to provide it. Sorry, no idea about the same.

Warm regards,
Dewdrops

Dear Dew Drops,

Thank you, what did you enter for nationality? did you enter your nationality or left it blank.
I think if you enter blank you cannot proceed further in the application.

Thanks,
Sat

We already had Indian birth certificate.Otherwise also, nationality is Indian only if both parents are Indians.
Anyways, they are not asking us proof of nationality.
