VFS Consular service

Bit off topic, if i am allowed to post here...Have anyone been to VFS (smethick,birmingham)for doing power of attorney for India?I submited mine on 29/12/21 but didn't heard from them yet , usually they send text messages as application proceeds from vfs to high commision India, but none this time? Any experience of anyone?Usually don't take more than a week? anyone knows any email of VFS smethick to query my application. Thanks

I am looking for getting POA (for property) attested.
VFS/HCI guidlines although extensive, is a bit confusing for me

Could you kindly advice whether we need witness present at the VFS appointment-
or
could I get a notarised copy of their signatures/documents and only the applicant goes for the appointment?
