Please explain the format of the letter you have from HMRC.

Also tell your 12 month income claim period.

Will be able to give you answer after receiving above info

The letter shows a breack down of my earning from july/09 to april/10 and tax has been paid .

12 month incomE period were july/09 to august/10, and had bankstatement and wage slips from april/10 to date.

You cannot use the P60. If you wish to use P60 then your income claim period must be April-March.

Also, when using P60 you'll not be able to use the payslips or letter from employer as the second evidence as they (payslips, employer letter and P60) are considered from the same source.

Your claim period is 14 month not 12 month.

The type of letter you receive from HMRC is bit surprising for me. Can you name the letter? For eg there are some like p60,p45,p60,SA300,SA302? What have you got exactly?

If the gross and net salary figures on your letter and your salary slips from uptil 5 April 2010 corroborate to the word then you should be fine. From april to date provide bank statements and salary slips.

You may use this document (not sure whether UKBA will consider this as an acceptable evidence) only if your income claim period is from Jul09-Apr10.

Sorry my income claim period is from july/09 to july10, and all the income were made in thesame company and the company was registered in july/09 . So i guess all the earnings is automatically from july09

July'09-Jul'10 is still 13 months! Given it is Nov'10, the earliest income claim period you may use is Aug'09-Jul'10.

Are you an employee of the company or the owner of the company who draws salary from company profits?

So you need to apply with documentary evidence(s) required from self-employed applicants, as specified in the policy guidance.

Without bank statements, it is difficult for you provide 2 set of corroborating evidence (from independent sources) of your "cash" earnings.

Sending a letter to UKBA to state the fact (cash earnings) is of no relevance. To assess your application, you need to provide is evidences of your cash earnings.

Reference to the policy guidance - choose 2 from 141(vi)-141(ix), taking into account 141(x). Also provide 2 from 142(i)-142(vii).

Read the policy guidance carefully, in particular the paragraphs I have mentioned in my response above.
