Paid Incorrect Application Fee

Post by prabhjot16 » Fri Jul 12, 2024 9:03 am

Hello Sir/Mam

I have applied for extension of my skill visa on 20th June 2024 and application was submitted with incorrect visa application fees due to selecting that my skill in shortage list which was incorrect.

Got a mail from home office to pay extra amount after 4 days. We have paid the extra amount. As the application was submitted intially on priorty basis. i thought we should get reply in next 5 days after we paid correct fees. But its more than 3 weeks we have not got any reply.

Any Idea in such cases, home office takes how much time to process the application. Does my applictaion is no more in priorty and if not how much time they can take.

The application is no longer within the priority timeframe, and now will follow the usual decision time of a standard application.

I am currently in the same situation. The HO asked me to pay the additional fee. However, how do I pay if I cannot modify my visa application now? Did you make the payment by sending the payment slip to the home office where you included your credit card details? If yes, how long did it take for the home office to debit your card?

Thank you in advance!
