Pakistan Travel Insurance

Post by AzimScot » Mon Jan 04, 2010 9:31 am

Hi,

Can anyone confirm if there has been a change in law in Pakistan, which requires travellers to take out some sort of travel insurance before travelling and stamped on passport? I always thought this was optional. Is this the case?

Thanks.

I have heard very first time that for travel insurance you will get stamp on your passport.
what I know is in Pakistan you get 3 page documents with your detail on that and I think it costs nearly 6000 RS (from Travel agent) and those people get travel insurance who needs to travel to Schengen countries because to apply a Schengen visa you need to have a travel insurance.
