Passbook as a proof ??

guys can we submit pass book of account as a proof of maintenance funds ?

Better to submit a letter from the Bank stating the minimum amount during the three month period is XXXXXX (Equivalent GBP is XXXX as per the conversion rate of XX.XX on the date XX/XX/XXXX).

Additionally I provided a statement covering the three month period prior to application
