Passport application address

Post by waleed205 » Thu Jan 02, 2025 11:01 am

Hello,
I applied for citizenship and waiting on decision.

I need to change location for job search reasons, I will move to London and stay with a relative. I searched changing the council (for cermoney) and relaized it is a hassle. Hence decided to keep as is and I will travel back there to collect when approved (hopefully :) ) However, when I apply for first passport, can I use the relatives address where I am staying?

The reaosn for asking is that I noticed that most likely I will need to do idnetity interview for passport and some questions are related to where I am living and what route to take to work or what concil band my house it etc. These location-based question will relate to the address I put in the passport application which is my relative's (is it not?) I can put my current address but by that time I will have a tenant living there.

Any suggestion?

You can use the address where you will be living by the time you attend the ceremony, no issue. Passport interview are not very frequent.
