Passport Application Error

I applied for a British passport 2 weeks ago. Last week, I received an invitation to book an interview. When I rang to book, it transpired that my date of birth is wrong. I have been ringing the adviceline for the last week but have not been able to get it corrected.Each time I ring, I just get told that someone will ring me as they have flagged it to the office. I have had 2 missed calls from unknown numbers which may have been from them. Unfortunately, I am unable to always be able to answer my phone due to work. I requested them to run at a certain time but they dont. This looks like it will go on forever.

Has anyone has similar experience? If so, what was the outcome?

Just point out to them the dob is wrong and they will correct it. That will be the outcome.

If you can't get hold of them by phone, then try to find their email. Send them an email, and relax.
