Sorry if is little long. need your help please
I applied for my 1st British Passport on 29 July.
support documents sent as well as someone's confirmed identity.
they confirmed documents received on 3 Aug
on 19 August 2022 they asked again for someone to confirm my identity which I did and also they asked to send a bill or driving license to prove my changed name as I changed my surname when I moved to the UK.
On 19 Aug I sent my provisional driving licence ( I wasn't sure if they would accept so I sent a bill too ,our this council tax bill which is on my husband and my name) .
Received text message on 31 Aug that they have received documents.
I called the passport office today and managed to talk to someone in customer support.
They said the latest in the system is that we can not process the passport as we need documents to prove the change of name.
I explained that I have sent a deed poll for change of name in 1st list of documents as well as provisional driving licence + council tax bill in the 2nd time. She said we sent an email and asked again for the bill but we don't have any email. she said they don't have the council tax bill either.
She said I sent the deed poll would be enough so I presumed they have lost all my documents.
What can I do? Please help me. I am 37 weeks pregnant and this give me too much stress now
