Passport nearly expires

Hi everyone

My passport expires on the January 25th 2012, I am applying Tier 2 visa at the end of December 2011. Does the Passport (nearly expires) affect my visa application?

IIRC, limited leave to remain is not issued on an expired passport.

So, if a decision is not made on your application by the time your passport expires, the application may be refused for that reason.

Best that you renew your passport before applying for leave to remain.
