Pay cuts and work permits?

There is rumor that my employer is going to announce pay cuts.

What happens if the pay cuts result in my yearly salary falling below the minimum level for work permit approved jobs?

Can they legally cut the salary below that level for someone on a permit? As isn't the permit a binding contract with the gov't?

Will my permit be revoked?

why dont u just ring the workpermit section and ask them dont tell them any details just ask them what happens if this takes place now a days they answer phones straight away
