Pay Slips and Full time employment.

Post by marke2 » Sat Oct 25, 2014 3:27 pm

Hi,

We are in the stages of preparing a "Family of Settled persons Visa" .
I am from the Uk my Civil partner is from Macedonia, we are looking for her to apply.

Could someone please tell me if the following will be a problem:

To reach the £18600pa threshold i changed jobs and as of Febuary 2014 i now have payslips that show i earn above this.

I was paid as a casual worker from Feb-March, and in April 2014 was moved on to a Salary of £22k
My company however are quite slow in preparing all the necessary information, so whilst i had on paper that i was Contracted salaried employee from April 2014, my Payslips didn't depict this untill Aug 2014.

Up Aug 2014 the paysips read " Basic day pay/ Basic night pay" in the "Payments" section of the payslip.
From Aug 2014 onwards it reads "Salary".

My gross pay between Feb - Now, still exceed the basic £1550pm to meet the £18600pa requirement.

i was wondering then if what is read in the "payments Section" of the payslip will hinder our application?

What you should be worried about is,if the your payslip and money going into your account doesn't tally,if it does, you shouldn't be worry about that.
As you've changed job, you should be relying on cat B,which will be supplying payslips in the past 12 months (past and present job)
Then, does your present job meet the annual income of 18600?if it does, then you should be fine.
Do you get paid hourly?if you do,don't worry about it,just make a short additional note to clarify what you think might not be very clear to them.

I think you should qualify under CAT A with Salaried and non salaried income.

Not sure this is a Cat B case , as you claim to have been earning this rate since Feb 2014. Feb 2014 -Oct 2014 is well over 6 months.

Cat A will be fine too,I simply picked "I changed job" to say that, cat A or B will be fine.
