pbs dependent maintenance funds

hi Im on tier 1 general and my wife is my dependent we have visa extension in jan 2014 .IM applying for ILR and my my wife as my dependent I have available funds in my bank account from last 6 months .we both have to do seperate applications . My wife doesn't have bank account in uk how can i show maintenance funds for my wife .Is it mandatory that dependent should have a bank account in uk . Can any one please help

No it is not mandatory that the dependant should have a bank account. The Main Applicant's bank account is the proof.
