PBS Printout

Hi,

While selecting the english qualification, which option should i use for nationality.

I have a qualification comparable to a UK Bachelor degree that was taught in English

or

I have already proven by skills in Tier 1.

Also, as I have applied via NCS, is it still mandatory for NCS to send my original degree to HO or just copy is enough since the rules mention original certificate along with PBS printout.

It should be the first one as your qualification is comparable to UK bachelors degree..only if PBS gives you 30 points and Language as 10 points..when you use Tier 1 PBS calculator..

Using NCS you have to show your degree certificate and they would take a photocopy and if HO need to verify they would ask you to send the orginal degree to them..

I did receive a letter from HO asking for originals.

Is this something usual since I thought there were asking for the documents again, thinking it was for NARIC certificate or something.

It is not usual only if they have any doubts of your English capabilities. I wouldnt worry much about it and send the degree certificate via recorded delivery.

The other theory it could be just that they want to ensure that the degree indeed gives you the benefit of being taught in English.
