Hi Everybody,
Firstly I would like to thank everybody on the forum for guiding me for my applications
I have have got my extension earlier on 12 Oct 2012 & got visa for 2 years
I would like to share my experience for my wife extension ,which I had applied separately yesterday (PEO Cardiff)
Document submitted
- The PBS Dependent form
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ation1.pdf
- 2 Photos of my wife with name & DOB at the back
- Dependents Passport
- Main application passport & BRP ( as we are handing in personally, not post)
- 3 month bank statement of the main applicants showing fund maintenance of 1500 GBP ( 900 for main applicant + 600 for dependent) as we are in UK for 18 months now
[Here I had some doubt about the minimum required, if dependent is applying separately then I think 600 is the minimum required, but since I have 1500 so I show it]
- Recent 12 months attested payslip & HR letter from employer of main applicant
- Marriage Certificate
- Sponsorship letter from Main applicant[1 page]
- Covering letter of the applicant [ 1 Page]
- Signed copy of passport & BRP of main applicant
- Both of our NHS Card & Our joint account statement for address proof ( As per guidance policy point 108)
- Photocopy of husband mobile bills for last 6 month, highlighting phone to the wife
- 5-6 snaps of us together, when we are in UK

About Cardiff PEO,
NOTE: Cardiff PEO accept ONLY debit card, NO POSTAL ORDER are accepted at Cardiff ( More details are on the PEOs page)
We reach there at 9:30 & all the security check were done
Then we submit our document at a counter
The lady there was seems to be new as one more guy was sitting side by her & teaching her what to do
We were a bit scared about fresher doing the checks
, She collected all of our document by : 10 AM
Then they told us to wait, we keep waiting till 12 PM until some senior observed that we had waiting for long then other
Then they found the problem, the new lady has sent the passport to verification department instead of BRP department, so our 2 hours are wasted, but then the senior lady call my wife & her BRP (finger prints & photos) are done. ( 1 PM)
Then they told us to go for a break until they call us on our mobile
They call us around 2:30 PM to collect our document
& we find that our application was approved
So with this minor hiccups the application was granted successfully
Hope this post help the applicants
Thanks to everybody once again
Cheers
