Pdf guidance for passport application

Pdf guidance for passport application

Hi All,
I have been looking online, including on the government website, and on the forum, but I did not find a definite answer.

Is there a pdf guidance for online passport application ? I would like to study it well before applying to know all the steps, etc.

I have found this, but I am unsure if it is the most updated one?

it does say 10.16 on the last page.(not sure if it is a publication date)

it does say 09.18 on the last page (not sure if it is a publication date)

They are about applying from abroad, but anything that covers that too and is up-to-date will do !

I also would like to ask, if the supporting documents can be sent straight-away after completing the online application or we need to wait for something to be delivered at home and then sent back! (maybe I got this from an old guide)

There isn't a pdf version of the guidance that I know of but you can refer to the gov.uk section of the website https://www.gov.uk/browse/abroad/passports and ask here any other questions you may have.

The supporting documents can only be sent after your referee confirms your identity (it is a digital process but it can take a few hours).
