PEO appointment - settlement

Post by hdravid » Fri Jul 01, 2011 3:45 pm

I tried booking an appointment by phone today, but I was told by the ukba guy on the phone that they cannot put me on the system unless the booking date is within 28 days of end of my 5 year period. I tried calling twice, but got the same response.

manyaonisland, could you let me know how you booked please? Did you get the same response from ukba? Could anyone else kindly advise on this please?

I had initially posted this on this thread :
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=496166
because it is directly related to the op 's experience at the PEO (user manyaonisland)

I wonder who shifted/moved my post to a different thread, where it looks quite incomplete , and why

The person on the other end of the phone becomes aware of the "28 days window" only when the applicant provides such information to enable the other person to ascertain so .... and is then able to ill-advise the applicant with such excuses.

When booking online, the system doesn't ask for such information or restricts the individual from booking an appointment - for such reasons. Likewise, a human interface shouldn't (mustn't) either.

Try booking online .. or if booking by phone, think up a (expiry) date that gives the impression to the person at the other end of the phone that the date, that you wish to schedule the appointment for, falls within the 28 days window.
