PEO booking through my company's immigration firm

Post by sai_tata » Thu Mar 07, 2013 11:40 am

Gurus

Need your advice on my current situation.

I am currently on Tier 1 (G) and planning to take the PEO route within a month. My company's employees' immigration details are handled by an external firm. The firm told me they can book a slot for me for Tier 1 (G) + dependents without charging me since I am with their client. They also mentioned that I need not be represented by them during the appointment. I don't want to be represented by them as that will be an additional £1200 on me.

In this regard I want to know is it possible (legal, OK ?) to use the attorney's PEO slot w/o showing up with the attorney? My assumption is, since this is slot granted to the attorneys, UKBA might expect an attorney to be present with me.

Apologies if this is posted in a wrong forum. Please let me know the correct one.

thanks in advance
ts
