PEO In Croydon : Question

Hello again...

After much kerfuffle with figuring out my dates and when I can apply, I've come to the conclusion that my golden date is the 18th of July.

This means 4 weeks prior = 20 June

I was under the impression (and strangely told by a few people at HO last week) that I could make an appointment TODAY (6 June) for the 20th June.

When i called to do that this morning, I was told by a few people I needed to wait until the 20 June to actually make the appointment.

Reading through the boards, I noticed some people did make appointments before the 4 weeks for a date within the 4 weeks - was this a fluke/luck or have they changed/tightened the rules or am I just getting grumpy monday morning staff?

I'm tempted to keep trying, but I'll probably just wind myself up...
and info/experiences???

Hi, my 'golden' date turned out to be 13th June, now I'm doing my ILR app through the B'ham PEO, so maybe they do it differently, but when i called (about 1 1/2 weeks before the 13th) all I said was I wanted an appointment for an ILR app, they then said the next appointment slot is on the 13th at 9:30 which was exactly the date (and time i wanted!) they then asked what type of app it was and i said ILR thru work permit and that was it! They didnt ask when I arrived or when my 3yrs and 11 months were up or anything.
