Permanent Residence (Change of Address)

Post by Alixlboy » Wed Oct 25, 2017 11:31 am

Hi All,

If someone gets his approval letter for Permanent Residence and also has his Citizenship application pending approval:

1. Does he/she have to notify INIS regarding change of address, before he/she can go to GNIB in order to get the new GNIB card, or can he/she get an appointment with the GNIB and take a proof of address (such as a bill etc.) with him/her?

2. Would the Citizenship guys already know about his change of address or does he/she have to notify them as well? Also, what happens if he fails to notify the Citizenship people? Would that matter, if he still has access to both new as well as old address?

Regards,
Ali
