EU Permanent Residence

Post by zanyninja » Tue Nov 23, 2010 11:07 am

My husband has recently acquired permanent EU residence in Malta. We are both employed in Malta. But I am not clear about my rights here as spouse of an EU permanent resident.
For example, will I be allowed the same rights as my husband who as per the law has the same rights as any 'European citizen'?
I want to start working as self employed in Malta. Am I allowed to do this?

You have pretty much the same rights as your husband. So you can work, study, own property, not-shovel-snow...

How long have you been living in Malta together with your husband?
