Permitted Paid Engagement Visa - when you have 2 simultaneous professions

Post by kiransachdev » Sat Jun 29, 2019 1:33 pm

Hello there,

I am an Indian citizen currently residing in Germany on a work visa.

The current situation is this :
I am an IT consultant by qualification and this is my full time profession.
However, I am also a professional singer and have been singing since the age of 5. I have participated in numerous singing reality shows and have enough evidence on social media to prove that i am a singer and have done numerous professional performances before. I have also lent my voice in the past for bollywood projects.

I have been invited by my friends to perform for them at an event they have organised in the UK.

I have been to the UK several times before 3 different visas 1) visit visa 2)ICT short term visa as an IT consultant 3) Tier 5 creative visa as a performer

I have been considering applying for a PPE visa for this performance. However, the only caveat i see is that singing is not my main full time profession at the moment(in the past it has been), but has been a strong profession nonetheless.

Is it ok to show that i have 2 professions, and music is one of them(however i have my main earnings from my other profession at the moment)

Really confused....any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Regards,
K
