Dear team,
I am currently working with NHS under Skilled worker (General) shortage occupation list. I recently received a new job offer from a different NHS trust and have been issued with CoS; so I have applied to update the visa as I am changing my employer and working under different SOC code.
I am confused with the application form I submitted within UK. It seems in the personal details column, it has an option to selected "About your home" for which I selected "I rent it" and then it ask's for name and address. Here I have input the owner name and address. Is this something correct? Or should I have input my name and current address?
Application submitted date: 21st May 2024
Received update on 24th May 2024 mentioning - You need to pay this additional fee because the application fee is insufficient. The application fee paid is for a 3-year skilled worker shortage occupation application, however, the SOC code on your COS is NOT a shortage occupation. Therefore, you are required to pay the above-mentioned balance to meet the application fee of a 3-year skilled worker visa application type.
I have submitted my card details for this additional fee but have checked my account details and it has not been debited yet.
Received automated email on the 24th & 30th May mentioning below.
Although we would normally decide your application within 15 working days from the date that your biometrics were enrolled, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case.
This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues, and we require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision.
