PHd qualification - what to submit

Hi,

For Phd qualification. We are planning to submit Certificate of Award as well as transcripts. But in point calculator they ask for duration of study. How do we prove that? Though Phd was for 4 years no where it is mentioned in certificate or transcripts. Is it worth getting letter from university regarding duration?
