Post by sidhujazz » Thu Nov 21, 2013 11:30 am

Hi Guys,

I have a big file to submit, shall i photocopy every single page, is it mandatory?

Please help.

You shouldn't have a big file, why have you got a big file?

Yes a photocopy of all documents should be submitted.

Thank you Amber.

Big file in terms of 2 years joint bank statements.

3 months of mine and my wife's bank statements.

Letter from landlord etc...

so all in all around 30 pages of documents.

Well for a starter 2 years of bank statements are certainly not required. For cohabitation proof, for every 4 months of the last 2 years, supply one joint letter or a letter each from a total of at least 3 different sources. For finances, supply the last 3 months wage slips and corresponding bank statements. Any additional documents should be kept separately in case (unlikely) requested and these additional documents need not be photocopied. Supplying excess documents may only lead to a delay in your case consideration.

Thank you Amber.

I will re-arrange and keep all the supporting documents in a separate file.

I will only submit what is required.

My PEO appointment is tomorrow.

Thank you for your help.

Yes you should submit it because it ill make easy for them and your case may take less time and I had submitted photocopies and I remember they announced my decision very early as we were not expecting that because 5 cases were ahead of us. We made 3 files one original documents, one photocopies and one backup file in which we kept documents apart from last 3 months requirements means from the start of 2 years.
