PIO Card Validity - Minor

Post by baaghi » Sat May 17, 2014 3:16 pm

Hi,

Can anybody please clarify about the PIO card validity for minors.

The rule says that PIO card is only valid till the passport expires.

So the question is - once you pay the full fee for a minor's PIO which is £112, do you need to pay the same fees again after 3 years (since infants passport is only valid for 3 years) when the passport expires?

OR

Can you just get the amendement done by paying £10/£11 and get the new passport number included in the PIO card?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
