20 Pionts for Immigration while in UK?

Was it for the whole period of stay in UK?

Was it if your last visa granted was a Tier 4?

I am sorry but u need to be more elaborate than what u have given here!!!!

In PSW, 20 points is to be awarded to applicants for this particular category.

Normally, it should be if applicant is on Tier 4 while he was studying in UK, but i read it somewhere in the policy guidance last year that it is NOT really necessary that applicant had a Tier 4 visa "Throughout" the period in question.

i must say that you can do better job in posing a question as it took another person to ask you exactly what you mean!...

the status at the time of application over rides any other status. so if you were a student 3 months back, then changed to xyz visa. Now, you will be seen to have xyz status and student status is irrelevant.

although i must say i still dont know whats your point exactly

Sorry guys.

Its a bit long story. I will try to shorten it. I have a student visa for almost 2 years. At the tail end of the visa the final results is NOT yet released so i applied for yet another Tier 4. While waiting for the application, the result came out i then applied for PSW(in form of varying the existing application). Am i entitled to that 20 points?

If the 20 points is for the whole of the period, that means it spans up till the time outside my previous visa. Isnt it?
