Pip funds. Spouse visa

Post by Thatghostperson » Wed Oct 09, 2024 5:42 am

Hello everyone. My case is a bit chaotic.

My partner is British and I am Nigerian.

My partner collects PIP monthly but his mother was the appointee. He wants to change the appointee to himself. For visa application I see home office requires one bank statement for pip payment. (Because the mom was the appointee the money was deposited into her account).

He also recently got a job paying £20,000 /year but it’s not been 6 month. It’s just been a month.

The other issue is that in my bank statement I use my over-draft and I heard that is grounds for refusal. Is it possible we apply with his pip and my payslip, p-60 and our joint bank account?

I work as a health care assistant so that’s 23,615/ year
We only opened our joint bank account in September and we want to apply December. Does it have to be 6 months?

What do we do?

What documents do we need? What templates do we need to use for housing and how do we create the application as a whole?

Please be kind.
