Plane Ticket

Post by rsa » Wed May 23, 2007 7:05 pm

Hi,

Ive just received my 2yr EC on the HSMP program and am looking at getting my plane ticket. Can anyone help with what type of ticket is required, if it makes a difference.

I heard you need an open 1yr return (Which the Stupid dont offer btw). I dont see what difference it makes other than being a lot more expensive.

Thanks,
Bruce

I would think you would be ok with a one-way ticket. Those entering on a 2 year spousal visa can enter on a one-way ticket, so you should be ok with that. Though, depending on where you're coming from, the return tickets are sometimes cheaper.

Hi,

Thanks yes you are correct, I also found the answer to my question on another site. So I'll put it here if anyone wanted to know.

Basically any ticket should be fine as long as you have the HSMP and Entry Clearance (>6months). Otherwise they need to see that you will be leaving the country. So I got a 3 month flexible return ticket.

:D
