Planning to Apply for Tier-2 Visa

Post by mshriv » Wed Jul 20, 2011 8:58 am

Hi,

My employer is considering for a long term assignment(3-4 years) in UK and is planning to apply for Tier-2 Visa(ICT). Just for my curiosity, I wanted to know about following things

1) My employer is B rated sponsor. What effect it has on probabilities of refusal of visa

2) Secondly, is there a way I can switch to Tier-2 (General) category from inside UK.
3) Is there a way I can file ILR after 5 years(if I wish to remain in UK). I know ICT transfers are not allowed to file for ILR anymore but wanted to know if there are any ways.

Thanks a lot
Manish

B-rated employer EQUALS NO chance to get a COS.....

thats my understanding based on the stuff i read like 2 months ago on UKBA site...

So, unless they have changed it, i very much doubt you will get the COS
