Please Help Filling Out VAF9 and Appendix 8 forms

Hi guys, i have some questions/confusions about some part of vaf9 and appendix8 form. They are as follows:

VAF9 (April 2011)

1) In part 1 section 1.3, do i have to fill the English box with 10 points as i have an IELTS score 7(overall)? If i dont then should i leave it blank?

2) In Part 5a Section 5.1 which box should i cross, NO or NOT APPLICABLE? Provided that im traveling to UK alone and im single and do not intend to bring a dependent in UK with me.

APPENDIX 8 (April 2011)

1) Part 4 Section 4.4: What is primary site of study? Should i write the same address as Part 3 Section 3.3? In Section 4.5 asks have i already started studying the course, well FYI i am applying for ACCA in Kaplan financial college and there are 14 papers in ACCA course and i have already completed 8 papers by my own(home study). Now should i cross Yes?

2) In part 5 Section 5.6: I am only allowed to cross "English Language Test" and i have to jump to Section 5.8. But the problem is im confused what to write in the box under "Level of Qualification", provided that i have passed IELTS and i have scored: Speaking: 7, Listening: 7, Reading: 6.5 and Writing: 6.5, overall : 7. What should i write under level of qualification? Also under "Award Reference Number", the boxes are to short and additional 3 boxes are needed to write the whole reference number that i have found on my IELTS certificate, what should i do now? Under the same section on "Date of Award" should i write the date of result issued or the date of test day?

3) In part 6 section 6.2: Which box should i cross? Just so you know my sponsor college is Kaplan Financial Limited(London- Trusted A rating). Under section 6.4 it asks to put a cross if i have sufficient funds to cover my remaining tuition fees, while i have paid in full(100%), should i still have to put a cross here??

That is them all. Please anyone kind enough to reply this inquiry as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

2. Not applicable.

3. This is address is written on your CAS, some colleges have centrally admission department. so their study sight is different. if there is nothing written just write your college address.

4. yes. you have already started studying.

5. Level of qualification. your overall bands.
date. when result was issued.
Reference number. right TFR number and right extra numbers outside the box.

6. first box. check section 6.5 as well.


Note: you might get confused in some of the questions but these questions won't matter much. because everything is written on CAS as well. just go ahead. if you need further help don't hesitate to contact me.

I am also doing ACCA from Manchester.
