Hi, I have an update

I posted the payment slip (exactly one week after HO received my application) and two days now I received an email acknowledging my application from HO

Does it mean that my application has been paired with the payment slip? Although payment still hasn’t been taken off my account

No it doesn't. You should have waited for the acknowledgement letter so that you had the case reference number.

You’re right
I wouldn’t have posted it until they told me it’s fine to post it without case number

I just called HO again now and she confirmed it’s fine and they will match it with my application without case number based on the information on the slip

I’m now a bit anxious again about it but fingers crossed it will go smooth

Do you realise that the call centre is a third party agent and do not have sight of your full application stuff.

Luckily HO were able to pair it with the application and it went through!
