Can anyone explain what "Proof of residence in the State amounting to 36 months in three of the last five years"

Mind boggling stuff, innit? :lol: ... i think it means that in the five year period the person is living in Ireland for three years continously. The immigration stamps on one's passport showing that he/she is living in the state without leaving Ireland long term and also on proper documentation.
