hello guys

I am a non-EU Family Member of an EU national and I have Romanian residence card for family members for 5 years, I left Romania nearly 1 year working in another country in Kuwait. And my wife not with me she work in Germany

Do I lose my residency cos I stay out of Romania?

Residency if you mean the completion of 5 ( or more ) years towards claiming citizenship, then definitely yes. If you mean your residence card or your right to return to Romania, then no.
