please ! i need some advice!

Post by ilr0511 » Fri Mar 18, 2011 11:47 pm

hi everyone !
after looking the forum for couple of days, I decided to write my position because I didn't find the answer i need. i am due to apply for ILR under category of spouse of a British national. problem is my partner has a car through DLA, she can't cancel it because of the motability. other amount goes to her mum n dad she doesnt want to get the money.
we are working full time and claiming no benefits. my case is ready to apply for ILR.
should i apply through by post or should i go for premium service ?

I'll be thankful if i get expert advice before its too late.

Why is your wife giving her DLA to her parents?

hi !
thanks for the reply... yes she is giving all her DLA to parents.. her parents get money from post office and documents goes to her parents.

one more thing she has a car and her mum is second driver in it so thats why she doesnt want to change over...

it will ease my tension i dont want to apply by post and have sleepless nights and days for months.

why is she claiming it if she doesn't need it?

what is it you are concerned about regarding the benefits?

Your wife is British and therefore has access to public funds. Her claiming DLA will have no bearing on your application.
