my friend who is an indian citizen here on work permit would like to change his surname and and one letter in the first name in the passport as per the numorology. would it be possible? anyone changed like that? how long it take to change names. please reply?

thanks for the reply. i think the deedpoll service only meant for the british citizens not indian citizens. did anyone change at the indian high commission? pls do reply
