PLZ Moderators/Seniors Ur help required on Proof of Earnings

Post by iamblue » Sun Mar 28, 2010 12:37 pm

Proof of Earnings required by London Visa

i have been advised to take ur suggestion on this along with other senior members.

I reced my 2nd AOR from chc london on 5th of march 2010. now they have asked me to provide proof of salary for when i was working in my home country. the problem is at that time (between 2000 to 2005) we were paid in cash and there were no proper salary slips issued. also when i called the company office i have been told that company has been closed.

i told the same thing to my consultant and he told me to write and sign a declaration for immigration officer that u dont have any proof of salary. which will be sent to CHC London, which may or may not get accepted. i am too worried of being refused and have no clue what to do.

all seniors and anybody else who have been through same situation help. i need prompt help.

Thanks

Unless you have any government documents which show any tax paid I think your consultant's advice is correct - that is all you can do. You might also want to try and obtain written proof that the company no longer exists and send this in with your declaration.

Have you any other proof that you worked for that company over that time span (letters etc)? If so, you may be OK, if not, CIC may not accept your claim of employment there.

Thanks a lot Richter....

i tried to persuade my HR manager who is working for another company now to help if possible see what happens.

as you advised of tax papers i can write and obtain the tax returns of couple of years from national tax departments. also i have my contract letters and promotional letters back in home country which i can locate.

provided i can send following to CHC London

1. Tax returns
2. Cotract/promotion Letters

u think they will work any good.

Thanks a lot once more for guidance
