To be honest i don't think you would have any problems entering the country on Canadian passport. Even if you were deported, the maximum ban is 10 years and after that you are allowed to come back again. As you hold Canadian passport you don't even have to declare that you were deported as you are not going to make an application for the visa. You have a visa free entry with your Canadian passport. As long as the purpose is a general visit rather than work.

to avoid possible lengthy questioning at the UK border it would be advisable to get a UK visa before travelling and in the visa application disclose everything about your past incl. the name change.
