Police Clearance

I'm not having much look with this so I thought I would try on this board, please help if you can!

I applied in March '06 and have finally received my 90 day letter requesting me to update my status However, I am having difficulties in obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate from Saudi Arabia where I previously lived since March '06. I have called the relevant Saudi / UK embassies and I can not get a clear answer about how to obtain this. I have read posts on the Internet saying that such a certificate can not be issued if you are no longer living in the country.

I know its a very specific question but a) does anybody have any further information about this and b) how will the effect my application if I can not include the document ?

Almost at the end and I don't want to trip up now

It is true that police clearance certificates from Saudi Arabia are issued to current residents only. CIC is well aware of this fact as this information is published on their own website.

Contact the post where you submitted your application for more details.
