Police registration after getting BRP

Hello,

I have been living in the UK for 3 years under a Tier 2 General visa. When I first arrived, my visa did not show that I needed to register with the police; I confirmed this by calling the OVRO when I got here. Now I changed employers, and I was issued a new Tier 2 General permit, in the form of a BRP. My Home Office letter does state that this time I need to register with the police, 7 days after getting it.

Item number 11 says:
11. Date of arrival in the UK: This should match the stamp in your passport showing the date and port of your most recent arrival following the issue of your visa abroad. It is rectangular and normally displayed next to your Entry Clearance visa. Place of arrival: This should be your port of arrival, for example, Heathrow.

What date should I put there? The date in 2014 when my first visa started? I have not left the UK in the last few months.
