Is PR possible ? Need your help

Hi,

I came to UK in 1999 on business visa and stayed for 6 months.
Laer I came on work permit on 2000 in March. I was here until Dec, 2001.(Though the permit still valid until 2002 March).

I came to UK again in 2003 on Business Visa for 2 months.

I came to UK again in 2004 Sep on Work Permit and since then staying here.

I have been working for the same UK client from my company in India for the past 8 years.

May I request you to suggest whether I can apply for PR now ?

or else when I can apply...?

You will qualify for PR in August 2009.

I came to know that if the employer gives a letter that I have worked for the same client in UK during the stay in India, then it may be of consideration to treat that period as well. I came to know one person got the PR in the same context.

If you know that one person got the PR in the same context then try for it.....

Even if you get the letter from your employer, how are you going to prove your continuous stay between 2001 and 2004. That’s almost 3 years?. Do you have any UK payslips or P60's for that time ?
They (home office case personal over the counterr) may pretend a blind eye for 2-3 months gap, but 3 years is next is impossible I think. As someone suggested, unfortunately, you will be eligible only in Aug 2009.
