Post Study Work Period

Helllo Friends,

I am new to immigrationboard but I found it very useful. I have question about IGS and Post study work period. I have recently finished my master from Uni and now I want to applys for IGS.

I have heard that now its going to be for 2 years. But still it has not been confirmed by UK home office. Is that right?

The new IGS for 2 years will commence from april.
I am under the assumption that you can apply for the current IGS scheme for one year, and transfer it to the 2 year scheme when it is confirmed - the experts can shed lights on this one.

But its already april and I was told by someone that still it is not confirmed when its going 2 be implemented....

This is a very helpful information. Lot of people are in doubt approx. when Post study work visa is going to commence.

So it means that PSW visa is going to be launch on 30th June 2008?
