I called home office today, still in process. I applied on 27th November.

How I can get in touch with my local mp. Do we need to see him personally or write him the whole issue in email?

Please Advise!

Hi Jamilmughal

I just searched online for my local mp and explained the situation to her, within a week she wrote me a letter saying that she had wrote to the home office on my behalf. First thing you need to do is find out who is your local mp and then email them.

Hope this helps

I have called my local councilor, he then guided me to local;s office. I spoke to someone there. They asked me to send all the relevant information and said to me that they can help in this matter.

Hoping for Good! Fingers crossed!

Exactly even if your MP writes a letter to home office, they will reply with the same response to them saying its not been 6 months yet ... blah blah ... so there is not much room for you to do ... just wait in dark ...

Do not bother to call them!

They have been given a speech...in process could take upto 6 months. They make you feel that they are checking in system, but they do not disclose the real information.

They have been taught this way!!!

Received approval in white envelope ceremony 28 March 2014 . My experience at my Ealing council was of excellent service . My approval came in less than 4 months it is fine After HO had conceded my ILR application had been protracted for no fault of
mine I availed this to request for a prior approval HO may disregad restrictions in 12 months preceding nationality application under relevant law Thank you HO and thank you my MP from Ealing.

Despite your warning was tempted to call, and they checked their system for more than 2 minutes, and then said your case is not yet complete, you have to wait. :|
