You should receive your interview letter soon, mine took 14 days after I received the SMS msg.

Thanks zubbshah mate, that did help. Also Keyz87 thanks for the pointer, do not need it anymore fortunately, but will be a great help for other applicants who are waiting.

I tracked my application through the site below, it says to wait for three weeks before tracking but I filled out the tracking form before three weeks. Within 48hrs you get a response to the email address you provide and can correspond back and fourth with the hmpo customer service team via email.

It does, put a zero in front of the post office track and send tracking number, because it's a digit shorter then the tracking number on the passport form, you will get a email response back asking you to send your tracking number (post office one), address etc, I used post office track and send for my application!

Thanks TTOE mate!! I am just so glad I have been this lucky so far, my heart goes out to folks who have been waiting for a long time on various timeline threads, it must be so tough for them.

Its not really celebration time yet though as I am only half-way through my journey, still left:

Passport interview -> Passport receipt -> Current passport surrender for the family -> PIO application -> Entry Visa application (if required) -> OCI application from India for the family.

So there is a long way to go still. Good luck with your passport application BTW.

Highlevel, great turnaround for you for the passport appointment, 3 days after receiving interview letter. I am still calling to get a earlier passport appointment, they have one for Sheffield, but its early tomorrow morning and I wont be able to make it.

Lol. I feel you mate but you can boldly say you have gotten through the most difficult/hard bits. A step at a time, surely you will get through these steps in no time.

Give the Sheffield option a go, drive down today stay with Friends, if you have one over there or consider Premier Inn

I have sent 2 child passport applications last week through Post Office Check & Send, which is proving to be useless.
I still need to send away another passport application for my 3rd child and I'm looking to sending this by post myself using Royal Mail Signed For.

Do I send this using the envelope that was provided with the passport application or use a different envelope? Also do I send it to the address that's printed on the provided passport envelope or can I send it to my local Passport office which would be Glasgow?

Just recd my passport half an hour ago...DX guy was about and didnt even ask for my signature...the door was open and he dropped on the floor..

any ways, today morning..i rang dx to check if there was something out for delivery..caused based on the timelines...it takes around 2-3 days after interview to receive the passport... .they asked for my post code and verified my details and said..there is something out for delivery today...thought as much ...would be the passport...

all in all...took less than 3 weeks from the time of application....lots a fone calls to follow up and finally its all sorted.. !

wouldnt say its the end of the immigration journey but would say...its a start of the new beginning

wish you all the very best and hopefully you shall have yours soon....would be abouts to drop in a line for others

me too applied on 03rd Mar through C&S. but not received any confirmation. i' ve sent them an email today. i would not recommend C&S to anyone in future.
