OCI Application from Edinburgh submitting to HCI London

Hello Everyone,

I travelled to London from Edinburgh to submit my OCI application in person, reason being is, submitting in person to HCI London is quicker compared to CGI Edinburgh, in terms of process time. I recently went to the CGI Edinburgh site and looked at the FAQs regarding OCI, then I came across this:

"43. Would the Consulate refuse service on the basis of my residence being outside its consular jurisdiction.

Yes."

So, does that mean my application will get refused in London? even though I selected the mission as London?

if they refused my application, what should I do next?

Did you get any update or got the OCI? As I applied at Edinburgh but no update other than "Under Process".
