I can answer - checked the account all the time while awake (first thing in the morning, last thing at night!), then suddenly the number reduced by £874 this morning.

Thanks...lets hope Monday is our day :)

I wish I had something to update but sadly the fees have not been deducted yet. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to give an update.

Perhaps there was a rush before the fee increase so they are inundated with applications.

personally I think thats not the case.

if you see so far April applications are not too many.

March applications are around 50 which needs to be processed (obviously there will be other applications too which are not posted on the form)

i think we are looking at around 6-7 weeks processing time from the date of application as per my research.Obviously there are exceptions to the norm on either side but the average seems to be around that 7 Weeks mark from the date of application.

April applicants should start hearing around 7-10th may..

I am just praying that the Job interview i have given (provided I am selected which I am very very optimistic about). the company does not call and ask to provide evidence before commencing employment. as there is zero chance of me getting the job without my approval as the stamp in my passport is worth nothing. if so I will be begging (and i mean literally) home office everyday to process my application. never in my life so much has depended on something... tested my family strength to limits..
In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

Permanent Residence Card: 17/1/2014
Eligibility criteria: Permanent Residence Card (wife is originally from Poland) + British Citizen spouse (wife is also a naturalised British Citizen)
Language criteria met: UK Masters degree + LIUK
Current nationality: Nigerian
Method of application: Post
Council name if NCS used: Applied by self
Date of application: 7/2/2014
Payment method: Bank Account
Date of receipt by UKBA: 10/2/2014
Date of acknowlegment: 14/2/2014
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 14/2/2014

Date of ceremony: 14/4/2014
Passport Application: 14/4/2014

This was a total miracle from JESUS CHRIST. I had default on my Credit records + I had too many loans that I'd been struggling with + I'd recently left my job in Retail Management before I applied because I got fed up of the job and I just had to leave + my finances were in complete tatters + the council was paying our house rent and council tax after I'd left my job at end of January 2014...all odds were completely against me. I did not qualify but JESUS CHRIST qualified me. Today, from today 14/4/2014 I am a British Citizen. I took my LIUK on 14/4/2007. Exactly 7 years after I am British.

I even took a chance because I'd got a letter on 10/4/2014 saying that my application was successful but that I must not contact my council until I got my citizenship invitation letter. But I went to the council that same day in faith on 10/4/2014, the lady said she'd ring the very next day. The next morning she rang and said I've booked a private ceremony for you on 14/4/2014, but I have to check whether I have a certificate of naturalisation in your name. If I don't, I'd ring to let you know. That friday 11/4/2014 I waited all day nothing happened. Saturday 12/4/2014 my invitation to citizenship letter came, so I knew my appointment would hold on 14/4/2014.

That same JESUS CHRIST will do it for you if only you believe in HIM. Your Time Has Come in JESUS name AMEN.

I just give all the GLORY to the LIVING GOD.

It is truly finished (John 19:30).

Just checked my account and the balance has dropped by exactly 874/- for some reason its not allowing me to edit my original post so I am just quoting it here again. Next thing, wait for the acknowledgment letter.... :) Trying to take it one step at a time. Good luck to all of you...
