Just submit the reconsideration - I think this is a good choice. Hope you get some news soon, but you have to relax...they're really slow.

Good luck!

reconsideration process??

Post by pageup » Fri Apr 25, 2014 7:03 pm

My recinsideration application to ukba will go by 30.April... I think.

I want to know How ukba will look my application again... With postive note or negative note???

In feb 2014;.they refused my application because they said,, they not satisfied with my Wife employment...

But my Wife working,,tax going every thing up to criteria.. lwtter of evidence/ letter of her employer we will send to ukba to reconsider...

My Wife pregannt.. baby due oct 2014..
Also got court hearing in oct for my refusal.. so if they still refuse kg application we will gi court of course..

But What r chances me to get a postive reply from ukba on reconsideration.. or from court in oct or near future.

Marriage regisred under english Law... We have been together now for more then 2 years..

Will i get again coa with permision to work???

Is my solictor strategy good,,, please advise..

I know i shiuld ask my solictor these question.. but your replies Very helpfull.. trust me..

Can i be deported... If ukba cardine from work... Have no permision to work.. but still doing...

Thank you

Esse reply

I know that you are stressed and worried but if people knew how to help/advise you they would. The problem might be that many people think that your solicitor should be able to advise, after all you pay him/her! Also, I think the reconsideration request is correct.
You said the solicitor is going to submit this soon. Make sure that the solicitor points out the mistakes that the initial caseworker made and it should be ok. After submission you can only wait and see.

Please don't get so stressed about this. You will have to let things run their course. I'm sure your stress is not helping your health, nor that of your wife and unborn child.

Hope it all goes well for you.

I think his solicitor is right about the reconsideration. If that doesn't work let's see what else he can do at the time...

Hi. You should really be asking your solicitor what is next! He/she should know most about your application.

I think that all you can do now is to wait for the result of the reconsideration. I hope you won't have to wait for the court hearing (I hope it is sorted out before then!).

Just wait for your news!

Good luck.

Many people have done it. You could search using 'reconsideration' in the search box at the top of the page.

I think it depends on the case, you might be lucky enough to get your refusal overturned!

Your lawyer must be a complete waste of space...how many weeks does it take for him/her to send a reconsideration? I would be looking for someone new. He/she should be the one to reply your questions. We don't know what has been done so far...

Find a migrant support groups, e.g. the AIRE centre - they might be willing to help.

Like chaoclive said, your lawyer must be a waste of space. Nearly 2 months to send in a reconsideration after your refusal - how ridiculous! You should hear back from the reconsideration with a few weeks as that is generally how long it takes.
