OCI under process but son's completed

Post by indianman » Mon Apr 28, 2014 11:20 am

I submitted a postal OCI application back in early March

When I check the status on line it says:

Date Of Acknowledgement 14-MAR-2014
Registration Status at Mission LONDON
Documents Printing Status UNDER-PROCESS

Should it take this long

It is now 6 weeks since the acknowledgement.

I applied for myself and my son

Just checked the status of my son's application

Date Of Acknowledgment 14-MAR-2014
Registration Status at Mission LONDON
OCI- Number *********
Documents Printing Status PROCESSED On 15-APR-2014
Dispatched From MOIA (OCI ) NEW DELHI On 16-APR-2014
Document received At LONDON On 23-APR-2014

How can my son's application be completed but my one is under process???

I have emailed the HCI and await their response. I have tried calling but they do not answer the phone

So, just got off the phone to the OCI section in London and they have told me that my photos were rejected but could not tell me for what reason. Find it strange as both mine and my son's photos were taken at the same time from the same machine.

I have now retaken the photos from the local chemist (at an extortionate charge of £7.50 for 2) and resent them.

The wait continues.................
