Excellent stuff with the spreadsheet bkarthikisc. I can see how handy it will be for referencing average current waiting times...

Now if people start to update and dont forget everyone else in their moments of happiness.

Application Timeline

Eligibility criteria: HMSP (JR) + TIER 1 + 1 yr ILR
Method of application: NCS Camden Council London
Language criteria met (UK degree, exempt countries, PBS used documents, NARIC, or B1 test): Masters degree UK + LIUK
Payment method CC/DC, Personal cheque, Bankers cheque etc: CC
Date of application: 07/04/2014
Date of receipt by UKBA: 08/04/2014
Date of debit of fees: 16/04/2014
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 25/04/2014
Date of receipt of approval: Waiting
Date of Ceremony: Waiting

------Guess what------

On the evening of the date of application, I received a PCN(first time)(wrong date on the visitor's parking ticket) from Barnet Council. I appealed, got a letter saying they reject it. Someone said, I can argue in the "Notice to Owner" stage and will probably win.

As the fine is still £30 and £60 after 14 days, I think I should pay it be done with it-- What do you all say ?

Also, we moved houses recently. As I was about to renew my TV licence ( was late in renewing ), the TV licence guys came looking for the previous tenant and asked me if I have a TV licence. I told them I am about to renew (had finished paying my council tax and TV Licence was next). They said they can take the payment and allowed them. Then later realised that I could be prosecuted even if I pay the licence. However, today, I received a letter confirming my TV Licence number and nothing about court prosecution. (Relief) Just wondered if I will receive a one letter.

Should I tell the HO about these 2 issues.

Nothing to worry about mate.

you have not committed any crime and are not "CONVICTED" by court or any statutory LEGAL authority.
its not a big deal. you have bought the TV license now.
In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

man4uni, you have done a good summary of the applications and approvals in March. Looks like the third week march applicants have started getting their approvals.

Hi fellows, hope everyone is happy and excited. Got a quick question, did a quick search but didn't find anything in particular.

Its been a month since I applied for naturalization and now I want to move to a different address, literally 5 miles away from where I am now. Will the change of address in any way effect the time frame of my application decision time. Also, do I need to write to the HO informing them of address change after I move or a few days before?

My landlord is giving me quite a bit of trouble for the past 4 days and I would really like to give him a month's notice and get out. Or perhaps I will get my approval before I move out, ...who knows.

I would appreciate your help.

cheers
